Grotto Hair Studio has been building, growing and serving the Stratford & Surrounding area since 2007. With a focus on continuing education for our team and a passion for providing an exceptional experience for our clients, our entire Salon Company is dedicated to bringing only the very best through our services and our products.

Our Salon

Grotto Hair Studio is a multi-level space set up to make our building as accessible as possible for all of our clients’ needs. We are a green salon, meaning that we operate with sustainability in mind, reusing, reducing and recycling wherever we can.

You will be greeted upon entering by one of our front desk team members, offered a complimentary beverage and any self-care promotions. Our front desk team will let you know of any additional opportunities you might like to enjoy while visiting the salon. Feel free to browse through our Luxury Boutique where you can shop our extensive self-care product lines or speak to one of our knowledgeable team members who can provide you with professional hair care advice.

The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, offering upbeat, positive music and views over the Avon River from our upper level. Great thought and care has been put into the layout of our space making it an enjoyable experience from the moment you walk in right through to leaving the salon.

The brands we carry have been carefully curated by Grotto’s owner, Jillian, who has an extensive research process when thinking about which brands to offer at Grotto.

Only the top brands in the industry are considered, and if you see it on the shelves at Grotto, it’s because they have been tried, tested and found to be of the highest quality, ethically sourced and environmentally-conscious to stay in line with Grotto’s core values.

We carry a range of products by Kerastase, L’Oreal Professionnel, Shu Uemura, Aria Beauty, Philocaly, Balmain, Mirabella, Skyendor & Denman.

Our Education

Grotto is a level salon which means we prioritize excellence by ensuring our talented team of stylists stays at the forefront of the beauty industry. Through weekly educational sessions and workshops, our dedicated professionals remain abreast of the latest trends, techniques, and innovations, ensuring our clientele receives the best and most up-to-date hairstyling experience. We also provide an Associate Program which means we hire stylists who have just graduated from hairdressing college and provide them with an opportunity to learn how we do things here at Grotto and grow them to be industry leaders.

Our Leadership

Jillian, the owner & founder of Grotto Hair Studio, believes in sharing her wealth of knowledge in the industry. With that, outside of her day-to-day at Grotto, she is also a reputable Summit Salon Coach who thrives on empowering salon professionals to elevate their skills and business acumen. Guiding individuals through strategic planning, leadership development, and goal attainment, she is dedicated to fostering growth and success within the salon industry.
